Rising Star: Jordan Poole's Journey to Making an Impact with the Golden State Warriors

.

Jordan Poole is a professional basketball player currently playing for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on July 3, 1999 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended Rufus King High School, where he was a highly-rated basketball prospect.

After high school, Poole decided to forgo college and declare for the 2018 NBA Draft. He was ultimately selected by the Golden State Warriors with the 28th overall pick. In his rookie season, Poole played in 44 games for the Warriors, averaging 4.1 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.

Poole's rookie season was a rough one, as he struggled to find consistent playing time and had a difficult time adjusting to the speed and physicality of the NBA game. However, he began to show flashes of his potential in the 2019-20 season, when he had a number of impressive performances for the Warriors, including a season-high 22 points against the Phoenix Suns.

Despite his struggles, Poole has continued to work hard to improve his game and has become a key contributor for the Warriors. He has a good three-point shot, and his ability to score in bunches makes him a valuable asset to the team. He has an excellent work ethic, and his basketball IQ is quite high.

Going into the 2020-2021 season, Poole was expected to be a key player off the bench for the Warriors. However, a nagging injury kept him out for the majority of the season, but he came back strong during the final stretch of the season, which was also the end of the pandemic-shortened season.

Despite his injury-plagued season, Poole's future with the Warriors looks bright. He has the talent and drive to become a solid player in the league, and with the guidance of the Warriors' coaching staff and veterans, he should continue to improve and make an impact for the team in the coming years
