Cam Thomas is a professional American football player who plays as a defensive tackle for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL).


Thomas was born on December 5, 1987 in Greensboro, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he played college football for the Tar Heels. Thomas was a highly regarded prospect coming out of college and was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
